techniques at Yamanaka Lacquerware Institute. Has excellent
skills of itomesuji (fine stripes) and usubiki
(thin turnery), and is particularly skilled in the yukan
(floating circle) technique. Special invitational exhibitions
at the National Science Museum in 1976 and at the Kobe Expo
in 1981.
