Name Falls, Oke Falls, & Torige Falls
Name Falls (Man and Woman Falls) actually starts off as two beautiful falls threading their ways down a rock surface. These falls then unite and become one just like a devoted married couple. This location has been designated as a scenic area by Ishikawa Prefecture. Visitors are impressed not only by the beauty of the natural formation, but also by the sensitivity of people in the old days, who compared the falls to a married couple. Oke Falls, which has been designated as a scenic point by the prefecture, is a mysterious place which abruptly appears in the dark Ate woods. In addition to these falls, Torige Falls is also a common tourist stop in this area.
