Hikiyama Festival
@This festival is characterized by elaborate festival cars which have all been coated with Wajima lacquer. Every year this festival is organized by the Otogumi (men who are at the traditionally unlucky ages--25, 42, and 60). These men ride in the festival cars and parade through the streets, giving cheerful shouts all around the town. (April 5th and 6th)
