@This museum is known as the only museum in Japan that is devoted to lacquerware art. In the spacious museum building, you can enjoy the elaborate lacquerware world, from fine lacquerware masterpieces by living national treasures, through pieces produced by members of the Japan Academy of Art, to pieces produced by artists from other Asian countries. You can also learn from watching a video explaining lacquerware art.
