Snowman Festival
(in Shiramine, January)
The snowman festival held in the Kuwajima and Shiramine districts is a major winter event for people in Shiramine Village to celebrate and enjoy the snow.
Snowmen of all sizes fill up the whole village. The snowmen are lit at dusk to produce a fantasy-like scene.
