Before the 13th lord Maeda Nariyasu gave Kenrokuen its present form, the garden was divided into Renchi-tei Garden and the present Chitosedai Plateau.
The "History" section will introduce the site of Kenrokuen Garden in two parts: "Chitosedai Plateau" and "Renchi-tei Garden".
