These scrolls, from the collection of the Ishikawa-ken History Museum, show Kenrokuen Garden as it was when created by the 13th lord Nariyasu. One long picture scroll and one short picture scroll are stored in the same box.

One of the two scrolls, which shows mainly Kenrokuen Garden, is entitled "the scenery of Kenrokuen Garden". On it can be seen Yugao-tei, Hisago-ike Pond, Midori-taki Waterfall, the fountain and Uchihashi-tei before it was moved. The other scroll, "View from Seisonkaku", shows the second story of Seisonkaku Villa and the view from it.
