Kitamae Ships-no-Sato Museum was built by a Kitamae Ship owner, Sakaya Chobei, and has designated as national tangible cultural property. Components transported by the Kitamae Ships were used for pillars and beams in the house.
The Kitama Ship's owner's house, Zoroku-en, opens its garden to the public. In the garden, many stones, carried from all over the country by the Kitamae Ships, have been used for garden lanterns, stone bridges, and pavement stones.
