A big shallow bowl with two tiers in the Aote style, is colored all over on the rough base mixed with sand. The inside boldly depicts a big tree like a Scandinavian print or a van Gogh's painting. Its feel has a fresh charm like a modern artwork. The leaves of the tree are exaggerated, but the tree trunk is depicted realistically. However, these two elements become a unity and beautifully stand out against seigaiha (scale-like waves). The green part has bold and strong lines, drawing the diamond-shaped cross-grain design, and is covered with thick green glaze.
