It opened to show the treasures of the Honda family, which was a chief aide to the Maeda family (lord of Kaga Clan). It displays many pieces of armor as well as archives, furniture. "Murasame no Tsubo" (Pot of Passin Rain), reported to have come from Europe, was given by the second lord Maeda Toshinaga, and handed down as a family treasure. These exhibits are priceless as artpieces and precious as artifacts to study the Edo culture and history.
