It displays masterpieces of Ohi Pottey by Ohi Chozaemon I and his successors.
Chozaemon I, a haji (potter), accompanied Sen Senso, the founder of the Ura-Sen-ke tea
ceremony school, when the tea ceremony master was invited here from Kyoto as the tea ceremony
supervisor of Maeda Clan. Three display rooms show the designs Senso Soshitsu liked as well as
the creations by the firsrt Chozaemon through the present Chozaemon with unique designs. The Ohi
Gallery annex to it displays and sells masterpieces of Ohi Pottery.
