It opened in 1982 as a central facility of Kutani porcelain village in Terai-machi. It displays the history and producing procedure of Kutani Porcelain and a number of masterpieces.
You can see typical styles of Kutani, such as Ko-Kutani, ao-te, aka-te, kinran-de, as well as new trials of modern Kutani. At the porcelain annex, you can experience wheeling and overglazing.
